Payment can be made by:- Cheque:- We can only accept cheques drawn on UK banks and in pounds sterling. Please make your cheque payable to Old School Pens. Send your payment to Old School Pens along with a note of the reserved item number and your name and address. Cheques must clear before dispatch of parcels. Direct transfer:- If you have an online bank account you can pay by direct transfer, just request this on the order form or email alison@oldschoolpens.com and we'll send you our bank details. This is a great way of making payments as it’s reliable and in most cases, free of additional charges. Check with your bank to make sure they don’t charge for the service. Please note that it still takes three days for these funds to reach my account. I am sorry but we can no longer accept bank transfer payments from non-UK banks due to very high bank charges. Paypal:- Especially good for non-UK buyers. You need to be registered with Paypal but it is easy to set up on-line at www.paypal.com. Paypal now allows you to pay in UK Pounds, so there’s no conversion to be done. Payment should be made using alison@oldschoolpens.com as the payee and please quote your name and the pen reference number eg SH100 in the Item Description box. We can accept payments up to £200 via Paypal, unless by prior arrangement. We have to set a limit, as the Paypal Sellers Protection Scheme does not cover transactions outside the United States. Cash:- Pounds Sterling, US Dollars or Euro’s. Notes only, and please note that cash is sent at your risk. We recommend recorded delivery if you do want to send notes. Foreign Drafts and travelers cheques:- A very safe way of sending funds but they must be in UK Pounds Sterling, please make them payable to Old School Pens. PLEASE NOTE - WE ARE UNABLE TO ACCEPT DEBIT OR CREDIT CARDS! We want you to be happy with your purchase and enjoy the experience of owning and using a vintage fountain pen. If for any reason you are not entirely satisfied with your pen please repack it carefully in its original packaging and return it to us within 10 days. Provided the pen is in the same condition as supplied we will give a full refund of the purchase price excluding postage & packing. Please refer to the Condition Scale below as a different returns procedure applies to vintage Mint pens (often with manufacturers chalk marks) which have never been used. These are collectors pens and their value will halve if you dip or fill them with ink. Should you wish to return one it must be in its original box, undipped and uninked for a full refund. We have a vast stock of classic fountain pens apart from the collection listed on the web site. If you would like to exchange your purchase and you cannot see your chosen model or if you would like to discuss that special pen you are looking for, please e-mail alison@oldschoolpens.com Pen Condition Scale In the description of each pen we have attempted to accurately indicate its condition, so you know what you are buying. Our condition scale is shown below, but please note that this is inevitably a somewhat subjective scale. If you are in any doubt whatsoever, e-mail us! Where appropriate, we have listed every defect we can find on the pen, on the principle that we’d rather you got something that was better than described. See above for our returns policy.
