Although this pen is almost identical in external appearances to the more familiar aerometric filling 51, it is in fact a Vacumatic 51 from the very last year they were produced. This may well be part of the final production run as the barrel bears the number 8 and two dots, which indicates that it was made in the second quarter of 1948. The cap is just about identical to the first caps fitted to aerometric 51's and has the fine line pattern. The nib is fine in width and overall the pen is in excellent condtion with few signs of use. Fully restored and ready to write.
